World Press in progress
The judging of the 2007 contest entries is currently in progress. The winners will be announced on 9 February at 11:00 C.E.T.
This year 4,460 photographers from 124 countries entered a total number of 78,083 images. For the first time this year entries could be made over the web. This meant even better access to the competition for photographers worldwide. A total of 1,893 photographers representing 42.5% of entries, submitted 35,839 high-res images via the internet.
